Kinusaiga Butterfly

KINUSAIGA is a modern Japanese craft and textile art form invented in the 1980s by Japanese craft artist Satsu Mayano. Originally, it was a clever way to repurpose treasured kimono silk remnants into incredibly detailed picture mosaics.

And the best part? THERE IS NO SEWING. NONE. ZERO. ZIP.

Your Kit To Go will include your pattern already attached to your foam backing, a craft knife, seam ripper, hanging kit, finishing ribbon, a variety of fabrics for you to create with and detailed instructions. If you have a preference to fabric choices let us know.

You will need to have on hand is a sharp scissors and glue gun to complete the edging.

Finished Size is 8" x 8" and will take you 2-3 hours to create.
